On Monday evenings from September through to the end of May our group meets
at 7.45 p.m. to listen to a speaker each week, who will talk on their chosen
subject (sometimes illustrated) for about 45 minutes. We finish around
9.00 p.m. having had the chance to talk to the speaker or just chat with
friends. We open our doors to everyone and on many occasions the men join
us. You too, would be welcome.
Our group also provides 'Soup 'n' Snack' lunches on the first Thursday of
the month from 12 noon until 1,30 p.m. from September to April. Great value
at only £3.00 and this includes a dessert and a drink! Anybody in town
on those Thursdays you would be most welcome to join us.
Following on, for those that wish to attend, a short service of Holy Communion is held in the Church from 1.50 pm to about 1.40 pm.
