The 1st Colchester Company of the Boy's Brigade has met at Castle Methodist Church and its predecessor, Culver Street Methodist Church since 1901.

Four sections presently meet on Tuesday nights

Anchor boys - age range from 6 to 8 years meet from 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm.

Junior Section - age range from 9 to 11 years from 6.15 pm to 7.45 pm.

Company Section - age range from 12 to 14 years from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

Seniors - Age range from 15 to 18 years from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
